Standard & Poor's Agency confirmed the credit rating of Bashkiria

UFA, 20 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. The credit rating of Bashkortostan Republic is confirmed at 'BBB' level. The corresponding decision was made by the international rating agency Standard & Poor's (S & P) after the survey conducted, the Ministry of Finance RB informs.

Prior to this investment level the long-term credit rating of the republic was upgraded on April 30, 2013 and confirmed on April 18 of this year.

S & P experts consider that Bashkortostan is distinguished with positive liquidity, low debt level, moderately strong financial performance and low level of contingent liabilities.

For the first time Standard & Poor's Agency assigned the credit rating to the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2001. For the entire period of monitoring the rating of the region has been increased by six positions: from "B-" to "BBB-."

Currently, Bashkortostan has a credit rating equal to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khanty-Mansi and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Districts.
