Federal retail chains plan to expand the range of Bashkortostan products

As part of Hospitality Forum held in the "VDNkH-ENEA» exhibition centre on October 15, the regular trade and procurement conference was carried out, the press service of the Republican State Committee on Trade and Consumer Protection informs. Regional producers involved in the project "Product of Bashkortostan" presented their products and were able to ask questions to the management of the company "X5 Retail Group" (trade networks "Pyaterochka", "Perekrestok", "Karusel").

Organizers of the event were the State Committee RB on Trade and Bashkir Trade Association.

“According to the investigations of our marketing experts, products of local producers in a particular region are very popular”, the deputy director of the "X5 Retail Group" branch Alexey Sorokin said.

“Since December last year, we have already held 10 trade and procurement conferences, during which local producers managed to conclude more than 300 contracts with federal and republican retail chains operating in the territory of Bashkortostan”, the head of the project "Product of Bashkortostan" Alexander Kovtunenko said.
