Action for Bashneft recovery to the state will be considered on October 23, stated claims can be expanded

UFA, 9 October 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. A claim by the General Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Property Management Agency against Sistema JSFC and its subsidiary Sistema-Invest for the recovery of JSOC Bashneft’s shares in profit of the state will be considered on the merits at a meeting of the Moscow Arbitration Court on October 23. The decision was made after the preliminary hearing on Thursday, «Interfax» reports.
The Investigative Committee requested to collect from Sistema JSFC and Sistema-Invest 190 billion rubles in profit of the state.
"According to the information from Bashneft’s annual reports, for 2009-2013 Sistema JSFC and Sistema-Invest received dividends totaling 190 billion rubles”, the agency quoted the IC spokesman. “Under the law, there is a right of the owner of a possible recovery of the disputed property. Upon satisfaction of the claim the owner will have the right to return the property in question ".
At the same time, the Prosecutor General's Office itself can expand the claims in the case, RIA «Novosti» reports. "The Prosecutor General or the agency staff may reconsider their position on this case and file additional claims against Sistema and its affiliates. So far the claims are made in this volume", RIA "Novosti" cites the spokeswoman of the Prosecutor General's Office Julia Malysheva.
Recall, that the Moscow Arbitration Court at the request of Prosecutor General's Office arrested the Bashneft’s shares belonging to Sistema JSFC and Sistema-Invest. The Prosecutor General's Office during the inspection revealed significant violations of the law while alienation of the Bashkir fuel and energy complex companies. Bashneft belongs to Sistema JSFC. Law enforcement agencies through the courts require returning the oil company’s shares to the state.
