Gazprombank bought shares of "Bashinformsvyaz" for 1.33 billion rubles

UFA, 29 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/. 175,785,930 shares of "Bashinformsvyaz" being in Bashkortostan’s property constituting 17.84 percent of the share capital were sold at auction to Moscow JSC Gazprombank on September 26, according to the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of Bashkortostan Republic.

Four bids were submitted to participate in the auction. An attractive asset was claimed also by LLC "Omega" (Moscow), CJSC "Industrial and financial investments" (Ufa), as well as the entrepreneur Marat Akhmetshin. With a starting price of 1 billion 269.981 million rubles and step of the auction of 5 percent of this amount, the lot was sold to Gazprombank for 1 billion 333 million 480.05 thousand rubles.

JSC "Bashinformsvyaz" is the main fixed-line telephony provider in Bashkortostan. It renders data transfer services with xDSL, MetroEthernet, GPON and Peer To Peer technology, pay-TV services, as well as local telephony by SIP protocols. It carries out installation, setup and repair of telecommunication facilities.

The authorized capital of "Bashinformsvyaz" in the amount of 985.2 million rubles is divided into 949,023,840 ordinary shares and 36,165,270 Class A preferred shares with par value of one ruble. The main owner of the company is OJSC "Rostelecom" (68.18 percent of the share capital).
