Ufa International Airport has been authorized to operate Boeing 777, 747 and their modifications

UFA, 17 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency,Rozaliya Valeeva /. Ufa International Airport has been authorized to operate freight and passenger long-range wide-body aircrafts "Boeing-777", "747" and their modifications, the press service of the Ufa air hub informs.

The Rosaviatsiya (Federal Air Transport Agency) commission on the basis of the list of documents submitted by the airport tested the readiness of the airfield to receive the above-mentioned aircrafts. The service of "Boeing-777" and "747" and their modifications will allow the air hub to use more efficiently the available capacity of the terminal complex, to expand its route network, to increase passenger and cargo volumes.

Boeing 777 and Boeing 747-400 are one of the world's largest passenger aircrafts manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. The capacity of aircrafts is more than 300 and 400 passengers respectively, the cruising speed of these types of aircrafts is more than 900 km per hour, the range is more than 11 thousand km. According to the criteria of comfort and safety the aircrafts meet the highest international standards. The intention to operate these aircrafts on routes from the Ufa Airport is already declared by major carriers, such as "Transaero" and "Orenburg Airlines".
