Rustem Khamitov won the elections of the President of Bashkortostan with 81.71 percent of votes - CEC

UFA, 16 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Rustem Khamitov, the acting head of the republic, nominated by the electoral association "Bashkortostan regional branch of the political party "United Russia" is elected the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The regional Central Election Commission summed up the final results of voting at early elections of the President of Bashkortostan.

The number of voters included in the lists at the end of voting was 3 027 300 people. The number of voters who participated in the elections was 2 267 077.

Rustem Khamitov received the largest number of votes - 1 851 625 (81.71 percent)

59 475 residents of the republic (2.62 percent) voted for Ildar Bikbaev, 229 452 (10.13 percent) for Yunir Kutluguzhin, 109 040 (4.81 percent) for Ivan Sukharev.
