For eight months over 1.5 million sq m of housing were built in Bashkiria

UFA, 11 September 2014. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. More than 1.5 million sq m of housing were put into operation in Bashkortostan for eight months of 2014 due to all sources of funding. This is 13 percent above the figures for the same period of the last year, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. A total of 17.7 thousand apartments were built. 387 sq m of housing were commissioned per one thousand of the population.

The share of individual developers was 75.2 percent in the housing structure. 10.4 thousand houses with total area of 1.2 million sq m were built at the expense of proprietors and with attraction of loans. This is by 5.1 percent higher than last year.

The volume of housing introduced by enterprises and organizations of the republic grew by 46.2 percent compared to the same period of 2013 and amounted to 390.3 thousand sq m, of which 46.5 thousand sq m meet the standards of economy class residential property.

Bashkortostan Statistics Agency notes that the republic is the leader in the Volga Federal District on commissioning of residential property, and is on the second place on new housing supply per capita.
