Five-ruble coins devoted to the Great Patriotic War will appear in the circulation

Three new five-ruble coins of the series "The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" will be put into circulation within the issuance program of the Bank of Russia on August 29, the press service of the Central Bank informs. Their combined circulation will be 6 million items.
There is a relief image of the Monument to Moscow Defenders on the reverse of the coin, dedicated to the Battle of Moscow. The coin devoted to the memory of the Battle of Stalingrad participants contains a part of memorial "Heroes of the Stalingrad Battle" on Mamaev Hill in Volgograd. The third coin reminds of the heroic battle for the Caucasus - on its reverse there is an image of the Monument to the Elkhot Gate Defenders in Elkhotovo village.
On the same day the series of "Cities of Military Glory" will be replenished with a 10-ruble coin, glorifying Tikhvin. The coin of base metal with the coat of arms of the city of Tikhvin is released with a circulation of 10 million items.
A commemorative silver 25-ruble coin of "Saviour Eleazar Monastery, Pskov region" of the series "Architectural Monuments of Russia" will be issued. The coin is round in shape with a diameter of 60 millimeters. Weight of pure precious metal is 155.5 g, of 925 grade. On the reverse of the coin there is an image of the Cathedral of Three Saints Saviour Eleazar Monastery in Pskov region. The coin is of "proof" quality. Its circulation will be 1.5 thousand items.
