600 thousand hectares are allocated for winter crops in Bashkiria

This year, it is planned to allocate 600 thousand hectares for winter crops in Bashkortostan, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs. Currently sowing is being conducted in the fields of 49 regions. Agrarians are provided with all seeds necessary for sowing.

To date, winter crops are planted on 109 thousand hectares, which is 18 percent of the plan. Alsheevo region where the plan is executed by 47 percent (7.5 hectares) is the leader in sowing. More than 6,000 hectares are planted in Davlekanovo and Kugarchi regions, more than 5 thousand hectares - in Aurgazinsky, Meleuz and Miyaki region.
