UAPO and Gidravlika will transfer to international quality standards

Specialists of the serial manufacturer of aviation auxiliary power units Ufa Aggregate Enterprise «Gidravlika» and Ufa Instrument Production Association (UAPO) being part of Aircraft Equipment Holding of the Rostec State Corporation have been trained under the project for joint certification of enterprises in accordance with the international standard AS / EN 9100 Rev.C, the press service of the Holding informs.
"The transition to the international methodology of quality management is very important for us in the context of cooperation with foreign partners,” the CEO of Aviation Equipment Holding Maxim Kuzyuk says. “For example, at the Farnborough Air Show, we signed an agreement with Microturbo and began work on a new auxiliary power unit".
The "umbrella" scheme of the quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS / EN 9100 will include the Aircraft Equipment holding, "UAPO", and "Gidravlika" in the first stage of the project. In addition, in 2015, another four enterprises, including Samara Aviaagregat and UNPP Molniya will be integrated into a single quality management system.
Obtaining a certificate of compliance with international standards will allow Aviation Equipment Holding, Ufa Aggregate Enterprise «Gidravlika» and "UAPO" to register in the international supplier base of aerospace sector OASIS and to work with such aviation leaders such as Boeing, Airbus and other international aircraft manufacturers on equal terms with foreign suppliers.
