First in Russia representative office of the Chinese Sinohydro Corporation Ltd will be opened in Ufa

The Chinese company Sinohydro Corporation Ltd plans to open an office in Ufa, the press-service of the Government RB informs. At the initial stage it will be located in the office of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. As the amount of contracts and projects will increase it is planned to create a full-fledged office with its own staff in the region.

“Ufa will be the first city in Russia, where our representative office will be opened”, the President of Sinohydro Corporation Ltd Song Dongsheng said.

Recall that in May 2014 the head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited China as part of the official Russian delegation. It was then that the Chinese Sinohydro Corporation Ltd and Development Corporation RB signed a cooperation agreement.

Today, the parties are discussing joint work on forming of a special regional economic zone in the industrial park in the city of Agidel. In addition, the Chinese partners are interested in participation in construction and installation works on construction of paid roads in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Sinohydro Corporation Limited is the managing company of Sinohydro Corporation, which is part of the Chinese state corporation PowerChina. Its main activities are construction, engineering, design work in the field of hydraulic and hydroelectric facilities in China and abroad. Currently Sinohydro Corporation is working on 387 projects in more than 70 countries around the world.
