Ufa International Airport served one and half millionth passenger

Ufa International Airport the first in the Volga Federal District served the one and half millionth passenger since the beginning of 2014, the press service of the Ufa air hub informs.

“Ufa Airport reached a historic high in the main areas of activity for the last twenty years. This year the number of passengers complaints decreased by 50 percent, regularity of operations increased by 20 percent. In the first half of this year, passenger traffic on domestic routes increased by almost 12 percent, on international flights by more than three percent. Last year total passenger traffic exceeded 2 million 200 people. This year we confidently expect a higher figure”, the General Director of JSC "Ufa International Airport" Alexander Andreev said.

As a gift from the airport the one and half millionth passenger was given a certificate for a five-fold service in a business lounge, a traditional sweet dish chak-chak and a bunch of flowers. The S7 Airline presented the lucky ticket holder a certificate for a free "round-trip" flight.
