109 projects with investment of 171 billion rubles are implemented in Ufa

Currently in Ufa 109 projects are implemented with an investment of about 171 billion rubles. The total number of jobs created by the investment projects will be more than 16,000. There are 50 projects at the final stage of development with an estimated investment of 52.5 billion rubles, with creation of about 4.7 thousand jobs, the Deputy Head of Ufa Administration Ildar Hasanov informs.

The total investment in the first half of 2014 amounted to 36.3 billion rubles, which is higher than last year by 6.1 percent (in comparable prices).

Speaking about retail trade turnover, Ildar Hasanov noted that in January-June 2014 the retail trade turnover in large and medium-sized enterprises amounted to 55.1 billion rubles, with growth to the level of 2013 by 9.9 percent in current prices.

In January-July 2014 292 thousand sq m of housing were built and put into operation at the expense of all sources of financing. The average monthly wage of workers in large and medium-sized enterprises amounted to 33,249 rubles in January-May, which is by seven percent more than in 2013. As of July 1, 2014 the city budget received 8.4 billion rubles, of which own revenues are 5.1 billion rubles.

The number of employed in the economy amounted to 518.7 thousand people, including 325.4 thousand employees of large and medium-sized enterprises, the number of unemployed – 5968 people. As of August 1, there are 21995 open vacancies at employment services of Ufa.
