Projects for urban parks development will be considered at Ufa "UrbanBairam" forum

Issues of urban parks and public spaces development will be discussed at the second town-forum "UrbanBairam", which will be held in Ufa from August 18 to 22. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.

During the forum, in particular, the concept of "People's Park" in Inors residential district will be introduced. Potential investors and representatives of the municipality will be able to evaluate the concept on August21.

According to the press service of the City Hall, this year's "UrbanBairam" forum will gather experts in the field of urban planning and urban development, representatives of the city and republican government, business and the public, who will discuss issues related to the future view of the capital of Bashkortostan.

The central event of the forum will be working sessions to develop a strategy of city development, which will form the basis of a new master plan. In addition, participants will discuss the effective development of Ufa and its suburbs, as well as tools to improve the efficiency of the transport system.

A separate day of the forum will be devoted to discussing the potential of Ufa Peninsula. Experts will estimate the efficiency of industrial zones and reorganization of territories with low density.

In the evenings Ufa townspeople will be able to visit public lectures of invited experts, themed film screenings, presentations of the city festivals by activists from Vologda, St. Petersburg, Perm, Penza.

The official opening of the forum will be held on August 18 at 10.00 in the conference hall of Azimuth Hotel located at 81, October Avenue.

Open public program will be held during the working week at 19.00 at the conference hall of the Academy of Sciences RB at 15, Kirov Street.
