Izhevsk Holding acquires a feed mill and grain elevator in Bashkiria

Izhevsk Industrial Holding Komos Group acquires a production facility in Bashkiria, the press service of the company informs. The feed mill and grain elevator in Yanaul were in the sphere of its interests.

The grain elevator’s capacity is 45 million tons, and the mill can produce up to 70 thousand tons of feed per year. With the help of the acquired assets the holding can daily produce and ship up to 2 million tons of grain.

In addition, the holding plans to organize the production of feed under formulations of the American Cargill company at the mill. This will provide an opportunity to supply products not only to Russian but also to foreign consumers. As pointed out by the press service of Komos Group similar feed has been already made at Glazov feed mill – part of Komos Group. It proved its efficacy in pig-breeding and poultry enterprises of the company.

Bashkiria will be the fourth region of the holding’s presence after Udmurtia, Perm Territory and Kirov Region. Today, three poultry farms, an integrated milk processing company, which includes four production facilities, two pig-breeding farms, two cold storage facilities and a feed mill work under the management of Komos Group.
