270,000 pensioners of Bashkiria will receive higher pensions in August

Since August 1, the Pension Fund provides retirement pension adjustment of working pensioners. This annual allocation is made without applications from citizens, the department reports.

According to a member of the Pension Fund of Russia, the head of the Pension Fund in the Republic of Bashkortostan Foat Khantimerov, all works on timely adjustment of the size of pensions since August 1 have been already conducted. 270 thousand working pensioners will receive labour pensions in the new amount; funds for payment are allocated.

Each pensioner will have an individual increase after adjusting, depending on the amount of premiums received by the Pension Fund.

Over 1,111,000 pensioners of Bashkortostan receive pensions and social benefits from the Pension Fund. Prior to this, occupational pensions were indexed by 6.5 percent since February 1, 2014 and by additional 1.7 percent since April 1. Besides, social pensions were increased by 17.1 percent since April 1.
