Bashkir Generating Company increased its net profit under RAS by half
Bashkir Generating Company LLC completed the first half of the year with a net profit of 1.7 billion rubles, which exceeds the result of January-June 2013 by 54.5 percent, according to the accounting statement of the company under RAS.
For the same period total revenue increased by five percent - to 20 billion rubles. Positive trend was driven primarily by indexed regulated tariffs from 1 July 2013.
Operating expenses also increased - by 5.2 percent to 18.1 billion rubles. This was due to the increased cost of fuel and increase in gas tariffs for industrial consumers.
Gross profit of the company was formed as 1.9 billion rubles against 1.7 billion rubles in the first half of 2013. Profit on sales was 1.9 billion rubles with an increase of 11.8 percent.
Power plants of Bashkir Generating Company generated 9.2 billion kWh of electricity in January-June, which is by 9.4 percent less than the generation during the same period of 2013.
Heat energy supply increased by 0.3 percent - to 9.33 million Gcal.
The share of natural gas in fuel balance of the company’s branches is 97.4 percent, coal - 2.2 percent, oil - 0.4 percent.
Bashkir Generating Company LLC – is a major regional energy company in Russia, coordinating work of "Bashkir Heat Distribution System" LLC and its subsidiaries. Installed electric capacity is 4153 MW, heat capacity - 9029 Gcal/h. The authorized capital of the company amounts to 21 billion rubles, wholly owned by "Inter RAO".
