Twelve residents of Bashkiria can become senators

Twelve residents of Bashkortostan were included in the list of potential candidates for the Senate seat in the Federation Council. Bashkortostan in the Upper House of the Federal Assembly is represented by two senators, one from the State Assembly and one from the President of the republic. These are Raphael Zinurov and Anatoly Bondaruk. Powers of the latter will expire in September 2014. Residents of our region, included in the list by presidential candidates may be qualified for this position. Each of four candidates proposed three persons.

Rustem Khamitov proposed the Deputy Prime Minister RB Liliya Gumerova, the chairman of the Agricultural Production Cooperative "Bazy" of Chekmagush region Vadim Sokolov and the chairman of Octyabrsky City Council of Veterans (Pensioners) of War, Labour, the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Bodies Yuriy Korolkov as the candidates to the Senate seats.

Ivan Sukharev proposed to grant the senator’s posers to the deputy head of LDPR faction in the State Duma Vyacheslav Ryabov, the Chairman of the Board of LLC "Gosstroy Management" Herman Trunov and director of "Lux" LLC Albert Dinurov.

Ildar Bikbaev also presented to the CEC his list of potential senators. It includes the head of the regional branch of "Patriots of Russia" Zagir Khakimov, executive director of "Ekohimteh" Larisa Chelovenko and the pensioner of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Yaremenko.

The candidate from the Communist Party plans in case of his win to delegate to the Federation Council the director of "AFD Chemicals Ufa" Amir Ramov, member of the board of the Bashkir Republican Bar Association Anatoly Donchuk and director of "Dinamika" LLC Sergei Kolesnikov.

The candidate who wins the early elections of the President of Bashkortostan on the United Voting Day, September 14, will determine who he will delegate to the Federation Council from his list.
