Average salary in Bashkiria increased by 0.2 percent compared to January-May 2013

The average monthly salary in the republic was 23 224.2 rubles in January-May. According to the latest data of Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, the average salary in the region has increased by 6.6 percent in nominal terms and by 0.2 percent in real terms compared to the level of January-May 2013.

The highest average salary statistics is marked in oil refining sector - 59 863 rubles per month. The least average salary is paid at factories producing leather, leather goods, shoes - 10 275 rubles per month.

The average nominal monthly salary is calculated by dividing the accrued salary fund by the average number of employees. In calculating the index of real salary the consumer price index is taken into account.
