UMPO innovators saved 16,5 mln rubles for six months

The economic effect of technical innovation proposals by Ufa Engine Industrial Association (UMPO) employees amounted to 16.5 million rubles in the first half of the year - by 1 million rubles more than in the same period in 2013, the press service of UMPO informs.

For six months 452 innovators of the company submitted 1470 innovation proposals, of which 639 were introduced into production.

According to UMPO Department of Intellectual Property number of proposals with high economic effect increased. Authors of five most productive ideas will be awarded the title "Best Innovator of Association."

JSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" is the Russian largest manufacturer of aircraft engines. It is engaged in development, manufacturing, service and repair of turbojet engines and pumping units, production and repair of helicopters. It is included in the United Engine Corporation — a wholly owned subsidiary of JSC OPK "Oboronprom" on engine assets management.
