More than 1 million sq m of housing is put into operation in Bashkiria in the first half of the year
In the first half of 2014 due to all funding sources more than 1 sq m of housing is put into operation in Bashkortostan, which is nearly by 8 percent more than the last year. This was reported by the head of the republic Rustem Khamitov at a meeting of the Government RB.
Our republic ranks second in Volga Federal District in terms of total commissioned residential buildings, as well as of housing put into operation per capita. The main volume of commissioned housing is traditionally accounted for private developers.
In addition, according to Rustem Khamitov, residents of Bashkortostan were granted more than 22 thousand of land plots for individual construction. However, the total number of people entitled to such privileges constitutes more than 52,000.
"Interfax-Volga" referring to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency informs that in January-June, 11.7 thousand apartments were put into operation in the republic, or 268 sq m of housing per thousand inhabitants.
Individual developers at their own expense and attracting loans constructed 7.2 thousand of their own houses with total area of 835.6 thousand sq m. Their share in housing construction amounted to 76.8 percent.
Housing commissioned by enterprises and organizations of the republic increased compared to the same period in 2013 by 45.8 percent to 252.7 thousand sq m.
