Main creditor of Russian agricultural sector celebrates the 14th anniversary

Russian Agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank) has recently celebrated its 14th anniversary. During these years, Rosselkhozbank has become a universal financial institution of federal significance and the absolute leader in terms of loans granting in the domestic agricultural sector.

Volumes of credit industry support have increased significantly since 2006, when the country began implementation of the priority national project "Agricultural Sector Development". Within the framework of the national project and state programs for agricultural development Rosselkhozbank granted 1.8 million loans for 2.6 trillion rubles.

Key performance indicators of the bank grow annually. As of early June 2014 the loan portfolio of the bank amounted to 1.27 trillion rubles. Legal entities received loans for 1.02 trillion rubles, individuals - for 249 billion rubles.

For 14 years Rosselkhozbank has financially supported the implementation of 4590 investment projects in agriculture. Facilities as part of 3160 projects have been already commissioned.

The key task of Rosselkhozbank is to form a national credit and financial system in the agroindustrial complex of Russia and support the development of rural areas.
