Bashkiria banks will be supervised by the banker from Moscow
Former chief of the Main Directorate of the Central Bank on the Central Federal District Aleksey Plyakin will head the new joined territorial directorate, which will supervise banks of Bashkortostan, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Orenburg and Perm Regions according to «Vedomosti». The transition of Plyakin is supposed to be the initiative of Elvira Nabiullina, the Chairman of the Central Bank and the corresponding order has been already signed.
Until October 2008 Aleksey Plyakin served as Deputy Chief of the Moscow Main Territorial Supervision Directorate of the Central Bank, and then moved to the central office of the Central Bank. In 2012, he headed the Department of Banking Supervision of the Central Bank. In July 2013 the banker became the chief of the Main Territorial Supervision Directorate, then on its base the Central Federal District Directorate was created headed by Aleksey Plyakin.
