Number of billionaires increased in Bashkortostan

Five people declared over 1 billion revenue in 2013 in the territorial tax authorities of Bashkortostan Republic, the press service of the Russian Federal Tax Service on RB reports. The number of billionaires has increased by two people compared with 2012. Three taxpayers indicated securities and financial instruments transactions as a source of income, two more - entrepreneurship.

8725 people filed declarations on the amount of income in excess of 1 million rubles, which is by 22 percent less than in 2012 (11,215). 8348 taxpayers earned from 1 to 10 million rubles.

Revenues in excess of 10 million rubles were declared by 377 people, which is by 172 more than in 2012.

Total more than 161 thousand of declarations were submitted to territorial tax authorities, which is by 15 percent is above the level of 2012. The main share of them - 94 percent is constituted by those taxpayers whose amount of incomes does not exceed one million rubles.

In addition, employers submitted information on incomes of 2778 individuals for the year of 2013 with total income of more than 4 million rubles.

The highest earnings were recorded in the sphere of operations with securities, banking and industrial sector, in legal, advisory and financial services, as well as among athletes.
