Bashkir enterprises of small-scale petrochemical cluster transferred 500 million rubles of taxes in the budget

The enterprise included in the small-scale petrochemical cluster of the republic transferred to the budgets of all levels about 500 million rubles of taxes, the director of the Institute of Oil Refining RB Elshad Telyashev said in his report at the IV International Forum "Big Chemistry".
According to him, efficient operation of the cluster is ensured by the Multi-access centre created on the basis of the Institute.
Recall that last year an agreement was signed establishing a small-scale petrochemical cluster in the republic, which included about 100 enterprises from Ufa, Sterlitamak, Salavat. Today it employs more than 24 thousand people.
In general a petrochemistry sector is developing rather slowly in Russia. Thus, in Bashkortostan the share of industry in the gross domestic product is about 40 percent.
Small-scale petrochemical products are mainly imported from abroad. The volume of imports is about 40 billion dollars, although our businesses, according to the section participants, are very perspective.
Among the main obstacles Elshad Telyashev named the lack of good research base and skilled personnel, as well as loss of connections between science and industry.
Upon completion of the section a supplementary agreement on joint activities was signed with new members of the small-scale petrochemical cluster. Among them there are enterprises of the industry and leading technical universities of Bashkortostan.
