Number of pensioners in Bashkiria grew by 1.6 percent, the average pension – by 9 percent

As of April 1, number of pensioners in Bashkortostan was 1111.1 thousand people – by 1.6 percent more than as of the same date of 2013. While the average pension increased by 9 percent - from 9 416.2 rubles to 10,264.2 rubles per month. These data are given by Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.

91.3 percent of all republican pensioners, or 1013.9 thousand people receive labour pensions. Of them 913.5 thousand people receive old-age pensions (its average size in the republic is 10,875.9 rubles per month), disability pensions - 46.6 thousand (6983 rubles), the survivor’s pensions - 53.8 thousand people (7357.5 rubles).

Average social pension is 7487.2 rubles per month. 93.1 thousand pensioners of the republic receive such kind of pension.
