Business loans increased by almost one third in Bashkortostan for a year

The aggregate loans to the economy of Bashkortostan in the first quarter of 2014 amounted to 237.1 billion rubles, which is by 30.8 percent higher than the comparable figure of 2013, according to the National Bank RB. This amount is accounted for loans to both legal entities and individuals.

Outstanding balance of business loans from the beginning of the year grew by 13.9 percent - to 633.4 billion rubles.

Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs received loans for 186.9 billion rubles – by 36 percent more than in January-March 2013. Outstanding balance from the beginning of 2014 increased by 23.4 percent and amounted to 370.5 billion rubles as of April 1. While the share of overdue loans in this category of borrowers fell by 0.2 percent to 1.7 percent (in Russia as a whole there was an increase of 0.1 percent - to 4.4 percent).
