Housing construction rates grew by 18.9 percent in Bashkiria compared to January- April 2013

In January-April in Bashkortostan 5.7 thousand apartments were put into operation with total area of 545,000 square metres, which is 118.9 percent compared to the same figure in 2013. It is reported by Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. 134 square metres of housing space were commissioned per one thousand of republican inhabitants.

In the overall housing structure 77.7 percent is accounted for individual developers (in January- April 2013 the share was somewhat higher - 78.9 percent). They provided putting into operation of 3,4 thousand private houses with a total area of 423.6 thousand square metres (an increase of 17.1 percent).

Businesses and organizations commissioned 121.4 thousand residential square metres (plus 25.8 percent), including 16 thousand metres of economy class housing.

In terms of housing construction in January-April Bashkortostan is in the second position in the Volga Federal District after Tatarstan (876.9 thousand square meters), and in the fourth position in terms of commissioning of housing per capita.
