"Bashneft - Dobycha" will pay 3.2 million rubles for the accident at the pipeline

"Bashneft - Dobycha" LLC will pay a fine of 3.2 million rubles for a damage caused as a result of environmental accident at the pipeline "Arlanneft" , which occurred in Kaltasinsky region of Bashkortostan on April 24. The decision was taken by the Arbitration Court of the Republic and confirmed by the appellate authority.

According to the Bashkir Directorate of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage, as a result of the accident soil was contaminated with oily liquid in the area of 800 square metres. Experts of the supervisory body estimated overall environmental damage of 3.2 million rubles.

The sum recovered from "Bashneft - Dobycha" will be directed to the budget of Kaltasinsky region of the republic.
