Bashkir depositors of AF Bank will be paid about 3 billion rubles of insurance indemnity

10.4 thousand of AF Bank depositors may apply for payment of insurance compensation totaling about 3 billion rubles. About 200 of them had accounts in the bank for carrying out business activity. It is reported by the State Corporation "Deposit Insurance Agency" (DIA ), referring to the registry of obligations of the credit institution.

Tuesday, April 29, payment of insurance indemnity started in nine regions of the Russian Federation. Until October 29, 2014 "InvestCapitalBank " and "Rosgosstrakh Bank" – DIA agents-banks selected by the corporation through a competitive selection will accept applications and other documents. DIA will report further on the order of procedures after October 29.

Insurance payments, in accordance with federal law, will be made during the period of liquidation of the credit institution, which is two years on average.

Recall that AF Bank was revoked a license to conduct banking operations by the Bank of Russia on April 17.
