1.6 billion rubles were sent to support farmers in Bashkiria in 2014

In 2014, 1.6 billion rubles were sent to support farmers of Bashkiria, including 1.1 billion rubles for spring field works. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Ernst Isaev informed about it during a videoconferencing with the heads of regions devoted to the spring agricultural works.
This year, farmers begin field works a little later than the last year.
The spring sowing will be spent on the area of 2055 hectares, of which grain takes 1260 hectares.
“We have set an ambitious goal - to increase the gross agricultural output by 25 percent in 2017. Therefore, it is important to get a good result in crop production” Ernst Isaev said.
According to experts, wintering of cattle was successful. Ernst Isaev said that farms played a major role in the effectiveness of cattle breeding. Thus, compared with the first quarter of 2013, farms increased cattle population by 112 percent and milk production by 114 percent. Agricultural enterprises reduced the number of livestock during a quarter by 5.1 percent, private farms - by 0.8 percent.
