Oil and Gas Forum "Gas. Oil. Technology 2014" opened in Ufa

The Oil and Gas Forum "Gas. Oil. Technology" opened on Tuesday in Ufa. The venue of the exhibition is the new exhibition centre "Expo - VDNKh".

The XXII International specialized exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technology" is attended by more than 400 companies from 30 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as 16 foreign companies. These are the leading enterprises in the oil, chemical and gas industry – JSOC Bashneft, Transneft, Uralsibnefteprovod, Tatneft, "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat", Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Gazpromtransgaz Kazan, Vostokneftezavodmontazh, Bashneftegeofizika, "BSK - Bashkir soda Company", Blagoveschensk Fittings Plant, Paker, Burintech, Burservice and others. The exposition is located at four platforms where the achievements of industry, innovative technology and design are presented.

The Oil and Gas Forum will start with a plenary session "Process safety in domestic oil and gas industry". It is planned to discuss technological capabilities of domestic industrial complex of the Russian oil and gas industry, small-tonnage chemistry, import substitution, prospects of the internal market in gas consumption.

Within the plenary session an agreement will be signed between the Ministry of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan and JSC "Gazprombank" on expertise of the feasibility studies, business plans for investment projects to assess their cost-effectiveness and identify possible funding structure.

The forum will run until April 25.
