Inflation amounted to 2.4 percent in Bashkiria

Inflation in the republic in January-March amounted to 2.4 percent, according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency. March inflation was 1 percent compared to February.

YTD food products rose in prize most of all - by 4.6 percent. Prices for services increased by 2.2 percent. Non-food products rose in price at lower rates - by 0.4 percent for three months.

From the beginning of the year fruit and vegetables showed the largest growth in prices in the food group (22.2 percent), sugar (9.7) and alcoholic beverages (7.5).
