Bashkir cuisine restaurants will be opened in Ufa on the eve of SCO and BRICS Summits

In Bashkortostan work began on opening restaurants and cafes with the national cuisine, the press service of the State Committee RB on Trade and Consumer Protection informs.

It concerns mainly the capital of the republic. On the eve of the SCO and BRICS Summits to be held in Ufa in 2015, creation of institutions which will serve traditional Bashkir dishes has been actively started.

Parallel to this, now work is going on related to the creation of fine dining restaurants in Ufa. Total, it is planned to open 10 such restaurants in the capital of Bashkortostan. They will be located at the hotels, which are currently being built in Ufa.

“Already now a cafe of Bashkir national cuisine started working in Krupskaya Street in Ufa. In the near future three such places will be opened. We ask all capital restaurants to create a menu page with national dishes. From today, the expert group started monitoring institutions to check how our recommendation is implemented”, the deputy chairman of the State Committee RB on Trade Guzel Asylova reports.

Not so long ago, the issue of Bashkir cuisine restaurants was raised by the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov. He noted that the capital is often visited by guests from other countries who want to taste national dishes, but there is little to offer them.

In addition to opening institutions representing Bashkir cuisine, currently activity is conducted aimed at improving the quality of service.

The State Committee on Trade of Bashkortostan forms a system of chefs and staff training who will be involved during the upcoming Summits.

A scientific and educational catering cluster is organised in the republic on the initiative of the Committee. According to experts, it will help the hospitality industry to reach a new level.
