Ufa International Airport tested a common check-in interface

A common check-in application was checked at the Ufa International Airport.
The common interface developed by Asteros Labs enables passengers to check-in at any counter, which significantly reduces queues and also allows to take into account the interests of business class passengers and citizens with limited mobility .
The first stage of testing and training of passenger service agents was held as the check-in procedure to flights of S7 Airlines and Transaero.
“Testing was successful”, the representative of S7 Airlines Vladimir Verhorubov said. “All comments raised during the testing process would be taken into consideration by Asteros.”
The next phase of testing, where all airlines flying to Ufa will take part, is scheduled for the end of April.
A framework agreement with Asteros Labs on Asteros Contact Avia program promotion was signed in January 2014. The program is able to combine the data from all of the airport check-in systems and a common working interface allows registration of passengers on flights of different airlines.
Currently, each airline has its own check-in program. After launching the common interface it will be possible to get your boarding pass and register your luggage at any counter.
Implementation of the system will be carried out in three stages and will be completed in May.
