"Gas. Oil. Technology " Exhibition will show the latest equipment and raise the issue of import substitution in Ufa

More than 400 companies will be involved in the oil and gas forum and XXII International Exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technology ", which will be held in the new exhibition complex "VDNKh- Expo" in Ufa on April 22-25. Organizers expect that nearly 15,000 visitors will come at the exhibition. Features of upcoming events were discussed at a press conference in Ufa on Wednesday.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Dmitry Sharonov , oil and gas exhibition in Ufa is one of the central platforms in Russia, demonstrating the achievements of Russian and international companies in the field of oil extraction, processing , transport and exploration. Current foreign policy situation defined a thematic dominant of upcoming events: import substitution.

“We wholly cover all the necessary competences in the industry - from mining, oil transportation, to petrochemicals refining,” the director of SUE "Oil Refining Institute RB", Elshad Telyashev said. “We have united a unique set of companies that can provide the full life cycle of oil and gas industry.”

Elshad Telyashev noted the ongoing process of integration of the two important areas - Oil & Gas Exhibition and "Big Chemistry" Forum. According to him, this process "is long overdue and desirable".

According to the CEO of the Bashkir Exhibition Company Albina Kildigulova, a new exhibit venue for the first time will allow exhibitors to display a large amount of equipment. 22 business events, including six scientific conferences will be held in parallel in three conference rooms.
