Eight farms of Bashkiria were assigned a status of "500 farms" program participant

Four agricultural enterprises more became participants of the republican target program for the development of dairy farming and comprehensive modernization "500 farms", which runs till 2016.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan, following a meeting of the tender committee a membership status of "500 farms" was assigned to LLC "Rassvet" and SP "Dilmiev R.Sh." of Baltachevsky region, agricultural production cooperative named after XXII Party Congress of Ilishevsky region, as well as agricultural production cooperative "Geroy" of Chekmagushevsky region of the republic.

Since the beginning of this year eight farms were selected by the Ministry to participate in the "500 farms" comprehensive program.

The republican "500 farms" program was launched in spring 2012. During this time, the status of the program participant was assigned to more than 120 agricultural enterprises. Due to the modernization and renovation of these farms the average milk yield there is almost by one quarter higher than on average across the republic.
