Mortgage lending in Bashkiria grew by 27.8 percent compared to January-February 2013
In January-February, the banks issued 3313 mortgage loans for 4 406,3 million rubles to residents of Bashkortostan. The total volume of granted mortgage loans increased compared with the same period of 2013 by 27.8 percent, according to the statistical materials of the National Bank RB.
From the beginning of the year, mortgage arrears grew by 3.7 percent in Bashkortostan - up to 58 666, 9 million rubles. The share of overdue debt was about 0.8 percent, or 457.2 million rubles.
The average rate on ruble mortgage loans was 12.4 percent per annum in the republic in January and February. The weighted average loan term constituted about 15 years.
By volume of issued mortgage loans for two months Bashkortostan is in the third position after Tatarstan (5 621.3 million rubles) and Samara Region (4 603 4 million rubles) in the Volga Federal District.
