Net profit of Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant grew by 2.7 percent in 2013

Net profit of JSC "Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant" on the results of work in 2013 amounted to 960 million rubles, with an increase by 2.7 percent to the level of 2012, the company reporting according to RAS shows.

Revenues fell slightly (0.5 percent) to 21.2 billion rubles. Cost of sales was 18.9 billion rubles (plus one percent). Gross profit formed in the amount of 2.3 billion rubles (minus 11.4 percent). Sales profit fell by 22.8 percent - up to one billion rubles. Profit before tax decreased by 20 percent and amounted to 963 million rubles.

Accounts payable increased by 5.7 percent - to 1.36 billion rubles. Accounts receivable increased by 61.6 percent and amounted to 2.2 billion rubles.

JSC "Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant" is one of the main manufacturers of metalware in Russia. 91.45 percent of share capital is owned by JSC "Mechel". It produces rolled wire, steel wire, steel ropes.
