Ufa airport passenger traffic rose by eight percent in February

Ufa International Airport served by eight percent more passengers in February 2014 than in the same period of the last year, the press service of the Ufa Airport informs.

Total number of passengers exceeded 142 thousand. 71.6 thousand passengers departed from Ufa (9 percent increase), 69.5 thousand people arrived (growth - 7 percent), including 55 thousand departed on domestic routes, which is by 11 percent more compared to the same period of 2013.

The airport served 33 thousand passengers of international flights (growth by two percent), of them 16.7 thousand passengers arrived, 16.4 thousand passengers departed.

The total volume of cargo for February 2014 totaled 264 tons, exceeding the previous year figure by two percent. The volume of cargo and mail sending showed an increase of 33 percent and 40 percent compared to February of the last year, respectively. The number of flights increased: 1062 takeoff and landing operations were made, which is by 25.5 percent more than in February 2013.
