11 new trolleybuses will appear in the streets of Ufa

"Electric Transport Directorate of Ufa" (MUET) will receive 11 new trolleybuses of BTZ - 52763A brand on March 6. All of them are manufactured by Bashkir Trolleybus Plant.

“New trolleybuses will run on routes in the southern part of the city”, the chief engineer of Ufa MUET Sagit Kamalov said. “They will have low-floor passenger compartments accessible for passengers with disabilities. The cost of one trolley is 9,090,000 rubles.

According to MUET 210 trolleybuses and 150 trams are used now in Ufa, many of them need to be replaced. The wear of trolleybus fleet is 70 percent, the tram fleet - 90 percent.
