The situation in the labour market remains stable in Bashkortostan. In many ways a state program to promote the employment of the population contributes to this, it was noted at a seminar - meeting at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB.
It was attended by 65 experts of regional employment centres and 4 employment departments, the press service of the Ministry informs.
According to the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection RB Nikolay Solodovnikov, the registered unemployment rate fell from 1.3 to 1.2 percent in 2013. The number of unemployed amounted to 23.9 thousand people by the end of last year.
Total over 2013 businesses and companies informed the Republican employment service about 306.4 thousand vacancies, which is 1.1 times more than in 2012. The level of employment in the region increased from 69.8 to 70.3 percent. While some sectors of the republican economy did not yet manage to overcome the consequences of the crisis, Nikolay Solodovnikov said.
Meanwhile, according to Alfiya Gareyshina, the head of vocational training, counseling and psychological support department of the Ministry of Labour RB it is necessary to strengthen the effect of job fairs holding by using new, modern forms of work.
Among them there are interviews via Skype, presentation work "auctions", social and professional portfolios of unemployed recommended to an employer.
