1,7 thousand Ufa residents received the status of unemployed since the beginning of the year
Since the beginning of the year the official status of unemployed was assigned to about 1.7 thousand Ufa residents. During the same period nearly 1.6 thousand unemployed got jobs, about 1.8 thousand people were deregistered, Ufa employment service informs.
Currently there are more than 6.2 thousand unemployed in the Bashkir capital, more than 5.3 thousand of them receive unemployment benefits. Total about 6.9 thousand people are registered in the Ufa Employment Centre.
The urban job bank contains now more than 13.5 thousand job vacancies. Accordingly, the tension coefficient, or the ratio of number of unemployed to the number of vacancies is 0.51. The official unemployment rate is 1.11 percent, the metropolitan employment service reports.
