"Made in Russia" logo is defined

Results of nationwide open competition for the best quality mark "Made in Russia" are summed up. Of the 500 works submitted for the contest the work by the art director of "Akopov design" studio Dmitry Mordvintsev is recognized the best.

The letter "K" inserted in the pentagon will soon appear on all high quality products manufactured in Russia.

According to the "Trud" newspaper, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation announced the competition in 2013. The competition was held as part of a quality assurance system of Russian products. One of the main objectives was promotion of home made products in the domestic and foreign markets.

Since 2013, a similar project is being actively implemented in Bashkortostan. The State Committee on Trade and Consumer Protection RB is a developer of the "Product of Bashkortostan" sign.

The "Product of Bashkortostan" indicates that the food is produced in the republic and complies with the legislation in the field of quality and food safety.

Thus it is not allowed to mark with it alcoholic beverages, including beer.

In 2014, the State Committee RB plans to increase the number of participants of the "Product of Bashkortostan" project to at least 200.

Today the brand brings together 75 national manufacturers.
