Bashneft became a member of the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange

Bashneft acquired a status of a full member of the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX). The stock exchange representatives inform that this status gives Bashneft the opportunity to work in all existing sections of the exchange, to nominate candidates to the boards of the exchange sections and participate in preparation of recommendations to authorized bodies on the most important issues of the organization and development of trading.

Bashneft appeared at SPIMEX for the first time on September 24, 2013.

According SPIMEX in 2013 Bashneft sold at the stock exchange 1,028,485 tons of oil products, which accounted for 7.5 percent of total trading volume in the section "Oil products". In addition, last year Bashneft was one of the first to start trading crude oil at SPIMEX.
