Bashkortostan Government signed an environmental agreement with Ural-Volga Agroindustrial Group

The Government of Bashkortostan and "Ural-Volga Agroindustrial Group" (UPAG) LLC signed an agreement in the field of environmental protection. The document was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Ernst Isaev and General Director of "UPAG" Arthur Holdoenko.
The Agreement sets out the obligations of the parties to improve the environment, the press service of the Ministry of Nature and Ecology of Bashkortostan explained.
In particular, the Ural-Volga Agroindustrial Group undertakes to develop a program of modernization and introduction of modern technologies designed for 2014-2020.
In addition, technology of organic fertilizers using biotechnological preparations will be introduced at all poultry companies. According to forecasts, by implementing measures to optimize production processes the volume of waste will reduce by 10 percent.
In turn, the Government of the republic undertakes to provide consulting and information services in the field of environmental protection.
This is the second agreement signed between the Government RB and businesses to address specific environmental problems.
In 2013, an agreement was signed in the field of air protection with Bashneft. The basis of these agreements is plans on modernizing production facilities and introducing modern environmental technologies.
