Industrial fishing in 2013 was 70 percent of the planned in Bashkiria

In 2013, the industrial fishing in Bashkiria comprised 70 percent of the planned: from 356 tons allowed 235 tons of fish were caught in the republic. The main fishery is on the river Belaya, as well as lakes and reservoirs.

“Over the last five years, according to the results of inspections of compliance with the terms of contracts for the use of aquatic bioresources, 17 contracts of 35 concluded were terminated. Currently, 10 participants conduct commercial fishing on the fishery waters”, the press-secretary of the Ministry of Nature and Ecology RB Nina Nikandrova reports.
