99 projects with total investment of more than 163 billion rubles are implemented in Ufa

For the first nine months of 2013 in Ufa 66.7 billion rubles of investments were attracted with growth by 24.9 percent to the same period of 2012.

In the rating "30 best cities for business 2013" prepared by the «Forbes» international edition Bashkir capital took the second place as in 2012. The first place in the ranking was taken by Kaliningrad.

Furthermore, Ufa steadily keeps good positions in the integral rating 100 major cities of Russia (Top- 100) submitted by St. Petersburg Institute of Spatial Planning "Urbanika" and is among the top ten cities, which lead due to high standards of living and quality of urban environment.

As Olga Krasnova, the head of economics department informed at today's press conference in Ufa administration, 99 projects with total investment of 163.2 billion rubles are being implemented in the territory of urban district as of January 1, 2014. The total number of jobs created by investment projects is 18.7 thousand.

Besides, another 49 projects are now in the final stage of development with approximate investment sum of 81.4 billion rubles. In the case of their implementation the number of jobs will increase by another 6000.
