Housing construction increased by 6.9 percent in Bashkiria in 2013 - Statistics

In 2013, 30,1 thousand apartments with total area of 2484.6 thousand square metres were commissioned in the republic, which is by 6.9 percent more than in 2012. According to preliminary data of Bashkortostan Statistics, in terms of housing the republic was the leader in the Volga Federal District in 2013.

The main share of commissioned housing (66.3 percent) is accounted for individual developers. Businesses and organizations put into operation 836.1 thousand square metres of total area in 2013 – by 18.1 percent more than in 2012 .
