Bashneft increased oil production by 4.1 percent, refining by 3 percent in 2013

In 2013 oil production at the fields of JSOC Bashneft totaled 16,073 thousand tons, which is by 4.1% more than in 2012.

Preliminary operating results of the year 2013 are published on the website of the company. The average daily production amounted to 44 thousand tons per day. According to the company’s President Alexander Korsik, the growth was achieved by boosting production in the territory of Bashkortostan, and by starting oil production at the Trebs and Titov fields in the Nenets Autonomous District ahead of schedule. At these fields the Company produced 291 thousand tons of oil during August-December.

In 2013 Ufa refining complex processed 21,399 thousand tons of crude oil that is by 3% more than the level of 2012. In 2013 the refining depth at refineries of the company averaged 84.7%. The share of light products increased to 60.4% compared to 59.7% a year earlier.

According to the company data the average Nelson Index increased from 8.55 to 8.65 after a complex of sulphuric acid alkylation and sulphuric acid regeneration units was put into operation at the Bashneft-Novoil Branch.

The share of Euro 4 and Euro 5 gasoline in the total gasoline output amounted to 87.7% in 2013 compared to 72.9% in 2012. The share of Euro 5 gasoline rose to 67.2% in 2013 against 20.1% in 2012.
